Pastor Dr. Patrick S. Arrington
&
First Lady Tyise Arrington
Elder Patrick S. Arrington was born in Montgomery, Alabama. At the age of 8, he accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior at the Holt Street Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Dr. A. W. Wilson.

He was educated in the public-school system, graduating in 1985 from Sidney Lanier High School. After graduating from high school, he attended Alabama A & M University, graduating in May 1989 with a B.A. in telecommunications with a minor in Business.
​
Inspired by the murder of his father in the summer of 1989, he later enrolled at Faulkner University of Montgomery, Alabama, and graduated with a degree of Juris Doctor. He began the practice of law in 1996 and continues to practice law presently.
​
He served as a Deacon at the Holt Street Missionary Baptist Church and at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church in Marion, Alabama. Dr. Arrington accepted his call into the ministry in April 2005. He was licensed as a minister in September 2007, and was ordained by his Pastor, Dr. W. D. McClung at the Holt Street Memorial Baptist Church in January 2010.

In July 2010, he accepted the call of GOD to serve as Pastor of the Friendship Missionary Baptist Church in Demopolis, Alabama. During his tenure as Pastor, being led by the Lord, the Friendship Missionary Baptist Church grew spiritually and numerically with the implementation of various new ministries, community outreach, and a love for all of God's people.

He is a family man married (December 1989) to the former Tyisemaselle Croskey. The couple has three children: Patrick II, Alexander, and Tameria. He enjoys traveling with his family, coaching basketball, and soul food/country cooking.

He is a proud member of the Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. since 1988, and has served in various positions with the local chapter and also served as District Legal Counsel. He is described by many as down-to-earth, compassionate, generous, and dependable.
